The short version: what you tell us stays with the few of us doing the hiring. We use it only to consider you for a role, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

We are a family, not an agency and not a company that sells care. We are hiring a small team to look after our mother, and this page explains what happens to the information you share when you apply or write to us.
Whatever you choose to give us through our application form, a Facebook or Instagram form, Indeed, Care.com or email: your name, phone, email, town, the roles that interest you, your availability, the languages you speak, whether you drive, your experience, references, and whether you are authorized to work in the United States. If you send a photo or video, we keep that too, for the same purpose and no other.
Only to consider you for a caregiving role: reading your application, getting in touch, arranging an interview or a paid trial shift, calling the references you gave us, and, if we hire you, setting up employment and payroll. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell, rent or trade it.
The family members and the team lead involved in hiring. The services we use to hold and move information (Google for email and forms, Meta and Indeed for application forms, Care.com for its messages, and a payroll provider if you are hired) each operate under their own privacy terms.
If someone referred you, we note who, so we can thank them; we offer a $100 referral gift for anyone we hire. We tell the referrer only whether a hire happened, never the details of your application.
The site uses the Meta Pixel so we can tell whether our job ads are reaching people and stop paying for the ones that are not. It records that a browser visited the site or clicked the apply button; it does not record anything you type. You can limit it in your browser settings and your Facebook ad preferences.
Applications we do not pursue are deleted within six months after the search ends. If you join the team, employment records are kept as Massachusetts and federal law require.
Ask us at any time to see, correct or delete what you gave us, or to withdraw your application, by writing to [email protected]. We reply within a few days.
